Comings and Goings-IT Industry Veteran Kev Willers Joins NewVoiceMedia as SVP Services

NewVoiceMedia recently expanded its leadership team by appointing industry expert Kev Willers as SVP Services. In his new role Willers, who has more than 23 years of IT industry experience, will be responsible for global pre-sales and services.

This appointment comes at a time, when NewVoiceMedia, a leading provider of cloud contact center solutions, is accelerating the scale of its global operations. In fact, NewVoiceMedia recently obtained a new investment of $50m from Technology Crossover Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Highland Capital Partners Europe, Eden Ventures, Notion Capital and salesforce.com. Officials said that this huge investment is a major milestone in the company’s rapid international expansion.

Prior to joining NewVoiceMedia, Willers worked at Salesforce.com where he was responsible for customer success and partner programs. He has also held leadership positions at Symantec and Parametric Technology Corporation. Academically, he holds a First Class Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Leeds.

NewVoiceMedia has truly expanded significantly and wants to continue the momentum. It now operates in over 116 countries, and to meet the increasing demand for its technology the firm has doubled its number of staff over the last year.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Kev to the team as we continue to accelerate the scale of our global operations,” said Jonathan Gale, CEO, NewVoiceMedia. “With his extensive industry expertise, Salesforce background and impressive leadership experience, Kev will be invaluable to the business as we further reinforce our position as leader in the cloud contact center market. We look forward to his contribution to NewVoiceMedia’s future.”

Recently, cloudcontactcenterzone reported that NewVoiceMedia helped Wowcher reach the final in the ‘Best eCommerce Customer Service’ category of the eCommerce Awards for Excellence 2014.
