Comings and Goings—IT Industry Veteran Kev Willers Joins NewVoiceMedia as SVP of Services

NewVoiceMedia recently expanded its leadership team by appointing industry expert Kev Willers as SVP of Services. In his new role, Willers—who has more than 23 years of experience in the IT industry—will be responsible for global pre-sales and services.

This appointment comes at a time when NewVoiceMedia, a leading provider of cloud contact center solutions, is rapidly expanding its global operations. In fact, NewVoiceMedia recently secured a new investment of $50m from Technology Crossover Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Highland Capital Partners Europe, Eden Ventures, Notion Capital, and salesforce.com. Officials said that this massive investment marks a major milestone in the company’s rapid international expansion.

Before joining NewVoiceMedia, Willers worked at Salesforce.com, where he was responsible for customer success and partner programs. He has also held leadership positions at Symantec and Parametric Technology Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with first-class honors from the University of Leeds.

NewVoiceMedia has truly expanded significantly and wants to keep the momentum going. It now operates in over 116 countries, and to meet the growing demand for its technology, the company has doubled its workforce over the past year.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Kev to the team as we continue to accelerate the scale of our global operations,” said Jonathan Gale, CEO of NewVoiceMedia. “With his extensive industry expertise, Salesforce background, and impressive leadership experience, Kev will be invaluable to the business as we further strengthen our position as a leader in the cloud contact center market. We look forward to his contribution to NewVoiceMedia’s future.”

Recently, CloudContactCenterZone reported that NewVoiceMedia helped Wowcher reach the finals in the ‘Best ’eCommerce Customer Service" category of the 2014 eCommerce Awards for Excellence.
